Multiply - Boosting maths skills
Multiply is a new government funded initiative to help adults improve their numeracy skills.
It offers free numeracy courses that can help improve your maths, whether that's for use in your home life or at work.
Many people feel a little uncomfortable at the thought of using numbers. If this is how you feel, you're not alone.
Across the UK about 1 in 4 adults have a low level of numeracy.
We want to change this.
Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.

Who can join a Multiply course
You can sign up to one of the free Multiply courses in the area if you:
- are aged 19 or over
- do not already have a GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) in maths
Our courses are suitable for beginners and those who want to build on the foundations of their maths knowledge.
They are designed to help improve your numeracy skills for work and for everyday life.
